Nicholas M. Miller is a member of Neal Gerber Eisenberg’s Financial Restructuring and Bankruptcy Practice Group.
Nick brings to the firm substantial experience in general insolvency matters and distressed asset sales. He has extensive experience with public and private debtor-side representations and large and complex restructurings in a wide variety of industries, including financial services, retail, automotive, steel, manufacturing, broadband communications and electronic imaging technology. Nick also has experience representing secured lenders, bondholders, indenture trustees and official committees of unsecured creditors in chapter 11 proceedings and defending trade creditors in preference actions brought by debtors and trustees.
Nick has been certified as a Business Bankruptcy Specialist by the American Board of Certification – an honor achieved by select professionals who have met rigorous, objective certification standards relating to experience, continuing legal education, integrity and peer review, and who have demonstrated a sophisticated understanding of business bankruptcy law.
In addition to the work described above, Nick also has provided pro bono legal services to a number of clients through the Legal Aid Society and Heartland Alliance.
