Floyd N. Nadler is a founding principal of Nadler, Pritikin & Mirabelli LLC and has practiced family law for more than forty years. After obtaining an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois and thereafter graduating from the John Marshall Law School, he was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1959. He has been admitted to practice before the Bar of the State of Alabama, the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Court of Military Appeals and the United States Court of Claims.
In addition to various bar associations, he has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers since 1965, having served as National Secretary, Co-Chairman of the National Admissions Committee, as well as Chairman of the Illinois Sub-Board of Examiners for Admissions. In 2004 he was awarded the coveted Samuel Berger award by the Illinois Chapter of the AAML for his dedicated service to the practice of family law.
Mr. Nadler also served as the President of the Illinois Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and he has since twice served as National Counsel of that organization. As a member of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Mr. Nadler has served as both Secretary and as a National Delegate. Most recently, he finished his term as President of the United States Chapter of the IAML and presently serves as a Vice President of that international group.
As a Diplomate of the prestigious American College of Family Trial Lawyers, he sits as a member of their Executive Committee. Having lectured on numerous occasions, Mr. Nadler has appeared on various programs for the Illinois Continuing Legal Education Facility, The American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the Chicago Bar Association. He is a member of the Leading Lawyers Network and has been recognized by Chicago Magazine as a "Super Lawyer."
